Ramblers Scotland - Glen Gour to Strontian - Sallachan
Go West up Glen Gour, along a path on the south side of the River Gour. The path disappears, and about 5km up the glen cross to the N side of the river. Continue to the pass between Sgurr na Laire and Sgurr nan Cnamh. From the pass go down the North side of the Strontian river for 3½Km and then follow the path which leads to the ruined cottages of Ceann a' Chreagain. Then go South West along the track through the very fine natural wood of the Ariundle Nature Reserve to reach the road 1½ km North of Strontian.
