Be sure to stop off at Glenborrodale Nursery when you take the scenic road to Ardnamurchan Point. This lovely hillside nursery and garden on the shores of Loch Sunart showcases a range of plants, including azaleas and rhododendron, euphorbias, roses, primulas, hostas, asters, astilbes and honeysuckle to mention be a few, as well as a selection of flowering bulbs. Vegetables can also be purchased according to season and availability.
Visitors are welcome to take a stroll around the garden and nursery, with its polytunnels, glasshouses and raised beds packed with a variety of flowers and shrubs. From herbs to climbing plants, from shrubs to trees, from bulbs to a stunning collection of perennials, this is a great place to stop off and explore. The owners, Gill and Martin, can also offer advice on suitable plants for your garden.
