Rotary Club of Lochaber Christmas Festival @ Fort William
Saturday 26th November 2016 from 09:30 to 16:30 in The Nevis Centre, Fort william
Live Reindeer parade leaving Cameron Square at 11:00
Lochaber Rotary Club's ninth annual Christmas Festival is on target to be the biggest and best ever.
This year the Festival will include a dedicated speciality "Food & Drink" studio where local producers from Lochaber and the West Highlands will have plenty of display space to present their produce to the Lochaber public in an attractive environment.
The Festival will also see a huge boost to the Buskers' Corner event in the Festival. Performers this year will include the Kilmallie Singers, the Wind Band, the Lochaber Gaelic Choir, Clare's Songbirds, the Tulloch Hand Bell Ringers and the Bun-Sgoiul Ghaidhlig Loch Abar Choir (the new Gaelic school in Caol) ... all performing for free !
The Festival opens at 9.30 in the Nevis Centre, and Santa and his live reindeer parade will leave from Cameron Square at 11am. Santa will be assisted by his little elves, two youngsters who will have been chosen from the 82 poem entries in our partnership event with the Oban Times. Once again, the visit of the live Cairngorm Reindeer has been kindly sponsored by Ferguson Transport & Shipping.
