Moth Trapping @ Glencoe
Join uthe NTS Rangers at the Visitor Centre on Saturday morning to find out what moths have been caught in our harmless light trap that we’ll set out around the visitor centre the night before. There’ll be some marvellous moth crafts for children too!
If you like why not join the Rangers the evening before to help us set up the light trap. Meet at the Visitor Centre just before sunset at 8:30pm on Friday 11th August. The rangers will be on hand with bat detectors too and hopefully you’ll be able to hear and see the local bat population emerge from their roosts.
Wear warm clothes and it is advisable to bring midge repellent, midge net, torch and sunglasses (as the light traps are very bright!)
Meet: 8:30pm on Friday or/and 9am on Saturday at the Glencoe Visitor Centre
