Ramblers Scotland - Meall a’Phubuill - Glen Loy
This Corbett is a fine vewpoint above the watershed between Gleann Sùleag and Glen Loy Head W along the track to Brian Choille. Beyond the trees, climb NW up the slope to the col W of Druim Gleann Laoigh. Follow the ridge W by a dry-stone dyke to a summit, 747m, and descend to the col beyond. Climb W to the summit of Meall a’Phubuill, 774m. Return to the col and descend S following the burn. At NN037851 it passes over the agglomerate of a volcanic vent. At about NN037848 (420m altitude), diverge from the burn and head ESE down to re-join the track back to the start.
